While it’s located in Rijswijk, this Indian restaurant serves its customers primarily through delivery and will deliver their fairly decent Indian food all over Delft.
Finding decent Indian food in the Netherlands is difficult but Little Nepal is the best of the Indian options available in Delft. The menu is very large and contains the typical Indian fare, with korma, vindaloo, samosas and butter chicken available.
Portion sizes are large and come with rice. Don’t bother ordering extra rice; you’ll get more than enough with your meal. Side dishes are plentiful, making the organization of the menu a bit confusing between what is a meal and what is a side. Order more than you think you’ll need and enjoy the leftovers.
The samosas are good, as is the kip korma (chicken korma) and lam vindaloo (lamb vindaloo). The aloo gobi is cooked in a tomato sauce that isn’t standard but is nonetheless tasty. The naan is solid and, while not the best, far better than anything you’ll get at any of the other Indian restaurants in Delft.
As we’ve only ever ordered for delivery, we can’t comment on the ambiance of the store itself.
As you order via JustEat.NL, it’s difficult to get much of an impression of the service. Orders are sometimes delivered a bit late, but issues are typically resolved politely over the phone.
No English-language menu, but those with a basic knowledge of typical Indian cuisine and Google Translate can manage an order.
Dinner for one will cost around €17.50. Note that you need a minimum €20.00 order for delivery.
