Billing itself as an Argentinian steakhouse, Buenos Aires will serve you plenty of meat when you visit. The food is better on the quantity metric than the quality one.
Buenos Aires specialises in meat. All of the menu options lean heavily on animal products, so this is not a place for vegetarians. The menu is predominantly beef, as is typical for Argentine cuisine, though other options are available. (To be clear, this is not a Brazilian steakhouse, where the food is served in unlimited portions.)
An easy choice is the two person platter, which serves a variety of ribs, lamb chops and steak, plus a potato of choice and a side salad. Neither the quality of the meat, nor the preparation, is especially high.
The place has the dark feel of a cheap steakhouse. It’s not very large on the inside and has a very small bar. The decorations are as you’d expect, including a lot of kitschy paintings and bric-a-brac around the Argentine theme.
It’s a sit down restaurant with a very friendly and gregarious group of servers.
No English-language menus available. They do accept credit cards.
Dinner will cost around €40 euros per person.
